What personal data I collect & why I collect it

 

Contact form & contact via email

You have the option to contact me through my contact form. In order to use the form, I need some mandatory information from you: name, email address and the message you want to leave for me. You also have the option to contact me via email. The data you provide through contacting me, will then be processed on the basis of GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1 (f) and for the sole purpose of dealing with your request. As soon as your contact request has been completed, I will delete the data I have collected via the contact form as well as any personal data that was additionally collected during the sending process, if they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected and processed.

Blog comments

You can leave comments on my blog posts. When you use this function, your name, email address and the content of your comment will be processed, to enable you to comment on the content of my website. Other visitors to the website will then be able to read your comments. To help spam detection, I also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. The legal basis for processing this data is GDPR Art. 6, paragraph 1 (f). I delete your data, after deleting the article, you commented on or rather, when it contains illegal content, immediately. 

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

Cookies are small files which are saved to your device via your web browser. This website uses cookies to provide you with extensive functions, to make it more user-friendly and to optimise it.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
