Walashé documentary
What does it mean to bring “urban” dance styles onto the theatre stage? The Walashé collective pursued this question for one year in the context of their work and research scholarship of the senate department for culture and Europe, Berlin. Through the recording of interviews, rehearsals and performances, the videographer Patrick Zylka creates a portrait of the Walashé collective and gives insight into their creative process. The short film was published in 2021.
